How long can I checkout a book?

The short answer is you may keep an item until we send notice to return it. Most of our loans automatically renew until a maximum number of renewals is reached or a hold has been placed on the item, at which point an email will be sent notifying you to return the book within a week.
Therefore, to avoid costly fines, it is imperative that you verify your email address and be sure to check it!
